Special Guest Speaker, Linda Blair

Linda Blair, award-winning actress, humanitarian, and recipient of the coveted Los Angeles Proclamation, representing her WorldHeart Foundation, will appear on the Good Dog Stage at 11 am to speak about the importance of spay/neuter, breed education, how you can help in your community, and many other important topics related to our four-legged friends. In addition, Linda will give a demonstration on the basics of obedience.

Your donations at work.
Through your generous donations at the 2007 and 2008 Bark at the Park we were able to purchase 42 PetCot dog beds for the LA County Animal Shelter in Lancaster, and help supply the artificial grass for the "get acquainted yard". These were badly needed and much appreciated. Thank you to all attendees for supporting the Bark at the Park.

The Bark at the Park thanks Lancaster Honda
for their generous sponsorship at the Champion level.

Bark at the Park thanks PetSmart Lancaster, Palmdale West, and Palmdale East for their generous sponsorship at the Blue Ribbon level.

Our previous Bark at the Parks were great fun.  See photos. (New photos added Nov. 30, 2009)
Thank you to the more than 5,000 attendees, donors, vendors, community and rescue groups, entertainers, volunteers, and City of Lancaster staff.  Because of you, over $6000 was raised for rescues, shelters and community groups!

All volunteer slots, and all vendor, community group and rescue group spaces are filled--thank you for your support!

The City of Lancaster is a thriving community of nearly 145,000 located approximately one hour north of Los Angeles. Clean air, attainable housing, wide open spaces, and a close-knit community make Lancaster the ideal place for families.

For unique fun during your visit to the Bark at the Park, make time to visit Lancaster's
Musical Road, the only one in the U.S.  It is located on Avenue G between 30th and 40th Streets West.  As you drive west in the left lane at 55 mph, you will hear the William Tell Overture!
