Sponsors and Donors

Money raised on the raffles and auctions benefit the L.A. County Animal Shelter in Lancaster.
(Sorry, we can accept only cash and checks for the silent auction and raffle--no credit cards this year.)

We are grateful to the generous individuals and businesses who contributed to the success of previous Bark at the Parks.
Thank you very much!

Bark at the Park committee members, Carole and Rebecca, present a plaque to Laci Carr, PetSmart's pet care manager to thank PetSmart store #94 for their sponsorship of the 2007 Bark.

Dear Potential Champion,

On behalf of the City of Lancaster Parks, Recreation and Arts Department, the Bark at the Park Committee would like to thank you for your consideration of donation or sponsorship for this year.  Bark at the Park has been held consecutively for the last 11 years and is an event the whole community loves. It is ever growing in its attraction to community residents and their dogs.

Last year an estimated 5,000 people and their dogs attended. The day was filled with enjoyable activities for dogs and their owners such as Disc Dogs Flying Disc Competition, Splash Dogs Dock Diving, Agility, Obedience and Conformation Matches, Rally, AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Test, Herding Demonstration, Educational Speakers, Man’s Best Friend Contests, Community Groups and Vendors. As this event continues to grow and encompass other communities, we expect to easily exceed past attendance.

Bark at the Park will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008 from 10am to 5pm at Lancaster City Park. This is a wonderful opportunity to become a Champion of the community and advertise your company.  By becoming a Bark sponsor your company will receive high visibility in the community in the months before and at the event itself. You will be assisting the community, local rescue groups, and our main beneficiary, the Lancaster Animal Shelter, where funds donated to the shelter will go towards realizing the Shelter’s ‘wish list’.  A previous year’s fund raising efforts were put towards the building of a new visitation pen for potential owners to visit with shelter dogs.

Any size donation is appreciated and we have many Sponsorship opportunities to choose from--please pick one below and become a Bark Champion!

For any specific concerns, please contact Patricia Garibay at the City of Lancaster, 661-723-6072.

Thank you,

Carole Kelly
President, Bark at the Park Committee
