Rescue and Community Group Application

Does your rescue organization or community group want to participate in the Bark at the Park
held this year on Oct. 2, 2010 from 10 am to 5 pm?  Location: Lancaster City Park, 43011 N. 10th St. West, Lancaster, California

Booth Space Reservation
Reservation fee is now $25 to help cover insurance for Rescue/Community Groups.
Deadline for applications is Aug. 20, 2010  Applications will be considered based on space available.

Groups selected to participate will be notified by Sept. 3, 2010. 

Community and rescue groups will be provided with one 12' x 12' area, one table and 2 chairs.  If you are interested in sponsoring a fundraising activity, please specify your event and any special needs with your application or through direct contact (see "For more information" below).  Please mail or email a photo of your booth, or items to be sold or displayed (optional).  These photos may be added to the Bark at the Park website (www.lancasterbarkatthepark.org) and will not be returned.

Check should be made payable to City of Lancaster PRA Dept. and mailed to address below or by credit card (by mail, or phone: Patricia Garibay at 661-723-6072).

A state driver’s license or state identification card number must be written on all personal checks. Cash is not accepted by mail.
Payment must be made directly to the City of Lancaster through the mail to the below address.

Rescue Group Criteria:
No adoptions will be done the day of the event--NO EXCEPTIONS! 
No retractable leashes will be allowed during the event.

Rescue groups are expected to have potential owners complete applications and agree to home checks by the rescue group.
Potential placements should be accurately evaluated for temperament, behavior, and breed, and should be spayed or neutered before placement.
